A white she-cat with black-and-gray swirls on her pelt and green eyes pads into RiverClan's camp. "Hello?" she asks. She sits down. "My name is Swirlflame. May I join RiverClan?" She waits for an answer.
-
Swirlflame looked at Kestrelwing. "I love water," she answered, grinning. "I taught myself how to swim and fish a while back."
-
Swirlflame shook her head. "I've seen a lot of dead bodies. They used to bother me, but they don't anymore."
-
"Yes." Swirlflame nodded and looked straight into Sedgetail's eyes. "Thank you for allowing me to join. I've been on my own for a while and it's nice to see some live cats." She blinked warmly.
-
Swirlflame stood and glanced at Sandfeather, who was clearly the leader. She nodded. "That would be great. Thanks, Kestrelwing."
-
Swirlflame's green eyes brightened, but she kept her excitement down. "Thank you!" Then she glanced again at the bodies and lowered her voice. "If you don't mind my asking, what happened here?" Her eyes flashed sympathetically.
-
"I'm so sorry. If there's anything I can do to help, just tell me and I'll get right on it."
-
Swirlflame nodded and waited for the tour.
-
"Sleep well!" Swirlflame called after the two cats. She watched them disappear into the warriors' den, and then decided to go hunting.
-
Swirlflame padded to the river and sat down, carefully positioning herself so the sunlight wouldn't cast her shadow into the water. She waited as fish swam by, then raised her paw and flashed it into the water. The fish flew into the air, casting an arc of water droplets as it went. Swirlflame killed it, then caught two more fish. She carried them back to camp.
-
Swirlflame padded back into the camp and dropped three fish onto the fresh-kill pile. She sat, unsure what to do next.
-
Swirlflame watched Kestrelwing and Sedgetail, feeling slightly alone. She tilted her head up to the sky and watched as the glimmering flakes fell to the ground.
-
Swirlflame shivered and gladly accepted Kestrelwing's invitation. She quickly stepped to the she-cat and her mate, and sat down next to them. She glanced at Rushwing. He was a handsome tom, and she quickly looked away, feeeling a blush creep through her skin.
-
Swirlflame laughed as she watched the two mates playing. She felt happy; happier than usual. She padded over to Starfoot and dipped her head respectfully. "Hello," she meowed. "My name is Swirlflame."
-
Swirlflame watched the she-cats uncertainly, unsure what she should do.

This will be where I post my new story.
Keep watch for updates!

Swirlflame laughed. "You can ask me anything you want. I want you guys to get to know me, and this way you will." She sat down and began her story. "My mother was a rogue and my father was from ShadowClan. Their names were Moon and Cinderwolf. Cinderwolf fell in love with my mother, but he knew that he couldn't stay in ShadowClan if he and my mother were to be mates." She paused, letting the first part of the story sink in. "Cinderwolf left ShadowClan and he and Moon had me a couple moons later. My father wanted to keep up with clan customs, and they decided on Swirlkit because of the black-and-gray swirls on my pelt. My father taught me to hunt and fight, my mother taught me to fish and swim. Then, a bolt of lightning hit a tree branch and fell on Moon. Cinderwolf then changed my name to Swirlflame to remind me of Moon." Swirlflame's gaze darkened. "I ran away after my father became... strange. I followed the cat scents until I found you guys." She shifted her paws and curled her tail around them. "That's all. Nothing too interesting."
-
Swirlflame felt a prick of sympathy. "Things will end okay. If it isn't okay, then it isn't the end," she meowed, a wistful look filling her eyes.
-
A small black cat with green eyes peered shyly around a rock. "Hello," she meowed cautiously, stepping out. "My name is Night of Stormy Seas, but I usually go by Sea. May I join?"
